Description
This course consists of a series of lectures, field sampling, and computer-bsed analysis exercises. Class will consist of one, one-hour lecture and one, three-hour laboratory each week during which students will either be in the field or in the computer laboratory. Formal lectures will provide enough theoretical and historical background to the activities to provide broader understanding, but the focus is practical and many lecture periods will be combined with lab activities. Students will immediately apply their knowledge through completion field sampling and analysis of real vegetation data. Letter grade only.
