Description
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the BA Elementary Education program and successful completion of EDU courses 496-498 or BS in Math or Science.
The seminar will provide an opportunity for students from multiple sites to engage in the comparative study of issues associated with the education of Indigenous peoples and communities on an international scale with an emphasis on the role of language and culture through a review of educational practices and theories that have emerged from a variety of sources. Is offered every other year in tandem with EDU 488 Indigenouse Culture-based Education: International Seminar.
