Description
Prerequisite: Acceptance in the B.A. in Education Program.
This course will integrate method, management strategies, materials, and assessment procedures for teaching mathematic to all students including ESL students in K-8 schools. Students will apply appropriate state and common core standards to design direct instruction and inquiry-based lessons with cooperative learning strategies. They will use quantitative reasoning to apply mathematics concepts to explore issues in multicultural settings.
