Description
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the BA Education Program.
This field experience provides the pre-service teacher the opportunities to teach in small and whole group classroom environments and reflect no classroom experience under the guidance of a qualifed mentor teacher. Student will reflect on pedagogical and theoretical viewpoints along with strategies, methods, and techniques for understanding developmentsally appropriate instruction and the teaching profession. The pre-service teacher will understand the expectation and professional practice including codes of ethics, professional standards of practice, personal professional growth and development, and understanding educational organizational structures.
