Welcome to Diné College

The admissions office is the first stop in your educational journey here at Diné College. We strive to assist students with admissions by providing direct and indirect services to students, staff, faculty and administrators.

Admissions Requirements

For admission to Diné College – New and Transfer students must complete and/or submit ALL of the following:

  • Admission Application
  • Official Certificate of Indian Blood(CIB) or enrollment card (applies to registered American Indian students only and must match Full Legal Name.)  CIB Request Form
  • Official High School Transcript with graduation date or high school equivalency credential (GED, HISET, or TASC) with test scores.  High School Transcript Request Form
  • Official College/University transcripts from ALL other accredited colleges/universities previously attended.
  • Additional Admission Applications for the following Bachelor's Degree-seeking students will be required.

First Time Student

  A first-time student is a high-school senior, or a high school graduate who has never attended a college or university since graduation from high school or since earning a G.E.D.

Transfer Student

  A transfer student in this category is a high school graduate or one that has a G.E.D., and has completed some hours from an accredited college or university. This would include students that have completed a degree program at another accredited college or university and are applying for a Bachelor of Science Program degree here at Diné College.

Returning Student

  A returning student is someone who was previously enrolled at Diné College and has not been enrolled for at least one Spring or Fall term (this does not include high school seniors who have taken dual enrollment courses at the College).

Continuing Student

  A continuing student is someone who was enrolled the previous Spring, Summer or Fall term at Diné College. If you are going to take Spring classes, you were registered the previous Fall term. For Summer classes you were enrolled the previous Spring term. For Fall classes you were enrolled the previous Spring or Summer term. The purpose of this application is to verify that your contact information is current and correct. You MUST be logged in to MyDCPortal to fill out this application.

  A DUAL Credit student/High School Concurrent Student is a high school student who wishes to get a jump start on college by earning college credits while still attending high school. Courses offered through Diné College range from Navajo Language and Culture to College Mathematics.

Indigenous Summer Enhancement Program (ISEP)

The Indigenous Summer Enhancement Program (ISEP) is available to high school students, grades 9-12. ISEP provides a culturally supportive atmosphere for developing a strong multicultural approach in public health and health research. This paid two-week program introduces students to public health and applies this knowledge to service learning in local communites. ISEP builds new skill sets, develops leadership qualities and facilitates mentorship between high school students, peer mentors and college students.

Summer Institute Program

This application is designed for recent 2024 Arizona High School Graduate Students for the Summer Institute Program. Please complete this application only if you have graduated or are expecting to graduate from an Arizona High School in May 2024 to be considered for the program. The deadline to apply is June 12, 2024.
