Description

Prerequisite: ENG 102; PUH 355.

In this course, students are introduced to health services administration and the role of policy development in public health. The course covers national, state, local, and Navajo Nation health services, focusing on how they are organized and administered. U.S. public health services are compared with those on the Navajo Nation and other tribal communities. The course is taught in accordance with the Dine' educational philosophy (primarily in the realm of Iina).
