This seminar course focus on the methodologies and methods of Indigenous research In addition to examining an historical overview of research in Indigenous communities. This class will focus on the purpose of Indigenous research, the responsibilitiies of researcher in the Indigenous communities, the weright of Indigenous epistemologies with in research, the variations of Indigenous research methods, the role of the Institutional Review Boards, the proper use and dissemination of research finds, and the post project continuation of relationships with Indigenous communities.
